Description
Circa Mid-20th Century, Unmarked Manufacturer, Portable Keepsake Box. Not applicable (Non-vehicle item). Rectangular box with simulated brown crocodile skin exterior covering, secured by a small brass-toned clasp. The interior is lined with heavily wrinkled yellow/gold satin fabric. Contents include a collection of assorted costume jewellery (beaded necklaces, metal bracelets, stud earrings in a red presentation case) and a handheld mirror featuring a tortoiseshell-patterned frame. A fold-down section contains several small manicure or utility tools with tortoiseshell-style handles and one larger white textured implement. Documentation present is limited to a small white carton labelled “FASHION JEWELLERY GENTLE BREEZE CARRE…OPTICAL STEEL POINTS.” Ownership history is unknown.
