Description
A single vintage costume jewellery brooch crafted from silver-tone metal, designed in the asymmetrical shape of a stylised feather or paisley teardrop. The brooch features heavy embellishment of colorless rhinestones, consistent with mid-20th century design trends mimicking fine diamond cluster jewellery. The decoration comprises a central cluster of marquise-cut stones arranged to form the spine of the leaf, surrounded by an outer border densely set with pavé-set round rhinestones. The reverse side exhibits a textured openwork metal backing and is fitted with a functional straight pin and rolling safety clasp. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the metalwork. The brooch is presented within its original hinged, deep blue velvet-lined display box.
