Description
A collection of British bronze pennies dating from the reign of King Edward VII, spanning the years 1902 to 1910. Each coin features the right-facing uncrowned portrait of the King on the obverse, surrounded by the Latin inscription EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:. The reverse of each piece depicts the seated figure of Britannia holding a trident and resting on a shield, with the denomination ONE PENNY and the mint year in the exergue.
