A 1999 United Kingdom silver proof one pound coin issued by the Royal Mint. The coin is struck in 925 silver and features a heraldic reverse design depicting the Scottish Lion Rampant. The specimen is housed within a clear protective plastic capsule and is presented in its original blue textured clamshell display case with a black velvet-lined interior. The original certificate of authenticity is mounted to the interior of the lid.
