Description
Two decorative glazed ceramic jugs comprising a Beswick Sairey Gamp character jug, model number 371, and a taller pitcher. The character jug depicts an elderly woman wearing a green bonnet with a branch-style handle. The taller pitcher is modelled as a tree trunk with relief-moulded leaves and a small squirrel figure at the base. Both pieces exhibit hand-painted details and a lustrous glaze characteristic of mid-20th-century English pottery. No maker marks are visible in the provided views.
