This lot comprises a pair of hand-blown art glass items executed in deep cobalt blue glass. Both pieces feature a highly textured exterior surface, often referred to as “ice” or “bark” glass. The pair consists of one conical bowl with a dark, possibly fire-polished rim edge, and one large stemmed goblet or snifter. The stemmed piece features a tapered body with a ruffled or scalloped rim, mounted on a clear, twisted glass stem and a clear circular foot. The style is consistent with Mid-Century Modern Italian production, often associated with Empoli glass forms. No visible maker’s marks or inscriptions are present.
