A vintage hand-carved circular wooden box, approximately 5 inches in overall diameter. The box is constructed of light hardwood, exhibiting natural variations in wood grain and color. The tightly fitting lid features a deep, detailed relief carving depicting a stylized floral or starburst design, centered by a small metal tack. The body of the box is slightly darker than the lid. The interior of the box is divided into four equally sized compartments by thin wooden strips, suitable for storing jewelry, trinkets, or small collectibles.
