Lot 365: Murano Style Art Glass Sculpture of a Stylized Rooster

A striking hand-blown art glass sculpture, attributed to the mid-20th century Italian Murano style. The piece depicts a highly stylized rooster or fowl, characterized by a gracefully curved neck and body. The glass features a clear exterior that encapsulates a thick internal swirl of opaque white glass running vertically through the form, creating a dramatic contrast. The crest and tail are formed from clear, swept glass elements. The sculpture rests on a separate, highly textured clear glass pedestal base, typical of decorative Venetian pieces. The piece exhibits no visible manufacturer marks or signatures.
