A single ornate oval locket pendant executed in 9k gold. The piece is designed in a Victorian or Edwardian style, featuring scalloped edges and detailed chased or engraved decoration. The decoration consists of dense scrolling foliate motifs that frame a central, high-polish, unengraved panel. The locket is hinged and opens to reveal two internal compartments designed for photographs or mementos. A faint, illegible mark is present on the suspension bail.
