The scene shows a seated woman, a man playing a stringed instrument, and a third figure leaning over the seated woman, set within an arched stone interior. The relief is constructed from molded composition or plaster, finished with polychrome staining to simulate age and texture. It is housed within a circular frame featuring a black outer edge and a gold-tone inner fillet. The reverse side is stained tan/brown and features molded or stamped markings in the center, including the German phrase Musterschutz (Design Protection), the initials J M G, the number 1, and the model number 6235.
