A substantial accumulation of Great Britain (UK) philatelic material, primarily dating from the late 20th century through the early 21st century. The lot comprises approximately 100 covers, including 31 visible First Day Covers (FDCs) and commemorative covers, alongside a bulk lot of 100 or more covers contained in a plastic storage tub. The FDCs feature modern commemorative issues, including subjects such as “Arthurian Legend” (showing a se-tenant strip of five stamps), “OCEAN LINERS” (Queen Mary 2), and “THE CENTENARY OF THE ENTENTE CORDIALE.” The stamps are multi-chromatic, printed via photogravure or lithography, and perforated, including various definitive Machin Head issues in pounds and pence denominations (e.g., 31p, 55p, 57p). Cancellations are predominantly First Day of Issue Circular Date Stamps (CDS), often accompanied by thematic pictorial cachets. Also included is a small loose pile of mixed material, consisting of single stamps, blocks, and booklet panes, estimated at 50+ items, mostly used or mint without gum.
