A pair of two modern flared-neck vases produced by Franklin Mint, titled The Dance of the Celestial Dragon. Crafted from fine white glazed porcelain, each vase features vibrant polychrome enamel decoration in the Chinese style. The main body displays two dominant green and red dragons chasing flaming pearls amid clouds. The flared neck and foot are decorated with colorful floral sprays, likely peonies, and complex geometric banding. Each vase rests on a separate black circular wooden or composition stand. The base of one vase is inscribed with the title The DANCE of the CELESTIAL DRAGON, the copyright date © FM 1985, and the material and origin statement FINE PORCELAIN MADE IN CHINA.
