A pair of matching footed ceramic vessels, likely decorative urns or large goblets, crafted from earthenware. The items are finished with a deep, glossy maroon glaze, sometimes referred to as oxblood red. The main body of each vessel is decorated with a wide band featuring an Art Deco-style pattern composed of repeating stylized ogee arches and teardrop motifs rendered in alternating gold luster and black enamel. Extensive gold luster banding accents the flaring rim and the conical foot. The underside of one piece bears a white printed maker’s mark reading “IL VERROCCHIO” with a logo and the location “florence – italy,” confirming the Italian origin and ceramic construction.
