A hand-blown art glass decanter featuring a bulbous body, short neck, and flaring rim, complete with a matching spherical stopper. The glass is rendered in a vibrant, translucent orange/red hue. The decanter and stopper are extensively decorated with internal gold foil inclusions (aventurine) in a mottled pattern, concentrated on the lower half of the vessel and throughout the stopper. A foil label affixed to the shoulder identifies the piece as Murano glass. The technique and coloration are consistent with mid-20th century Italian glass production.
