A collection of six Isle of Man commemorative coins, primarily crown-sized issues, struck in cupro nickel and dating from 1975 through 1977. Each coin is housed in its original square clear plastic display case with a colored card insert (blue, green, brown, red, teal, and dark blue). The collection includes various commemorative themes: the Silver Jubilee Appeal Fund 1977, the Horse Tram Centenary 1876 1976, the Manx Cat 1975 (a five pence denomination), and the American Bicentenary Crown 1776 1976. The obverse of the majority of the coins features the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, while one coin features a different male portrait. Several coins are explicitly designated as ‘STRUCK IN CUPRO NICKEL’ on the packaging.
