A Victorian Sterling Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Fruit Knife, assayed Birmingham 1894. This folding pocket knife features a mother-of-pearl handle and a metal blade. The knife is fitted with a decorated silver bolster displaying visible hallmarks including a lion passant, an anchor, the letter ‘t’, a sovereign’s head, and the maker’s mark ‘J.G’. The blade is inscribed “1894”. An inlaid metal plaque on the handle reads “T. C. BROWN 13-1-36”.
