An antique brass jam pot or saucepan, likely English and dating to the early 20th century. Constructed from brass or copper, it features a single, long, dark handle, possibly wood or patinated metal. The pot shows substantial surface wear, tarnishing, and patination both internally and externally, indicative of age and use. Accompanying this lot is a collection of brass-colored metallic cartridge casings. Many are visibly linked together to form a belt. The casings display headstamps, frequently featuring numbers like ’42’ and letters such as ‘RL’ or ‘RZ’, suggesting their year of manufacture and original manufacturer.
