It is adorned with large peony blossoms and scrolling foliage. The base is marked with the underglaze inscription “MADE IN CHINA”. The second teapot has an octagonal body with an overhead arched handle, a short spout, and a domed lid. It is decorated with individual floral sprays within framed panels and geometric borders.
