A pair of 925 silver medals/badges by W.D.&S., Birmingham. The lot comprises a four-pointed cross-shaped badge, possibly a brooch, featuring a central circular motif inscribed “ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION” around a smaller cross emblem. Its reverse is fitted with a pin fastener and marked “REGISTERED ST. JOHNS GATE LONDON”, “W.D.S.”, and “Rd 700057”. The second item is a shield-shaped medal, surmounted by a crown and enclosed within a laurel wreath, featuring a plain central shield and a suspension jump ring. The reverse of this medal is engraved “YALE HIGH SCHOOL”, “VICTRIX LUDORUM” (Latin for “Victor of the games”), “GLYNIS JONES”, and “1969”, with visible hallmarks “W.D.&S.” and “SILVER”.
