An antique J. Kent Fenton England ‘Ye Olde Foley Ware’ blue and white transferware ceramic plate. This circular earthenware plate features a detailed pastoral or rural scene depicting a man on horseback, dogs, a thatched cottage, trees, and a distant church. The scene is framed by a continuous leafy vine border. The reverse displays a blue printed maker’s mark consisting of a crown above a circular text stamp that reads “ROYAL WINTON ENGLAND” with “YE OLDE FOLEY WARE” curvilinear text below. The plate is likely from the late 19th or early 20th-century period.
