A 1994 Samoa 10 Tala Proof silver coin, commemorating ‘Queen Mother Youth at Glamis Castle’. The circular, silver-toned metallic coin features on its obverse a detailed depiction of Glamis Castle, encircled by the inscriptions “QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER” and “HER YOUTH IN GLAMIS CASTLE,” with the year “1994” displayed at the bottom. The reverse exhibits the national coat of arms of Samoa, comprising a shield with stars, topped by a cross and surrounded by a wreath, with the text “SAMOA I SISIFO” (Western Samoa) and “FA’AVAE I LE ATUA SAMOA” (Samoa is founded on God) around its perimeter, and a “$10” denomination below. The coin is presented within a clear plastic protective capsule.
