Lot 163: A Moorcroft Art Pottery Footed Vase with Tube-Lined Floral Decoration

A Moorcroft Art Pottery footed vase, featuring vibrant polychrome tube-lined floral decoration with stylized yellow, red, and blue/purple flowers and green foliage, set against a shaded green and blue ground. The glossy glazed surface exhibits a fine crackle pattern, characteristic of Art Pottery. The base carries clear impressed marks, including “MADE IN ENGLAND” and an impressed “C,” along with a painted “S” or “5.” Most notably, the base is marked with a distinct painted “MOORCROFT” signature in dark blue script.
