A collection of six Isle of Man cupro nickel commemorative crowns. Each coin is presented in an individual clear plastic display case with a colored cardboard insert. The obverse of each coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by ‘ISLE OF MAN’ and dates spanning 1975 to 1977. The reverses showcase various themes, including the ‘SILVER JUBILEE APPEAL FUND 1977’ with a royal standard; ‘HORSE TRAM CENTENARY 1876-1976’ featuring a tram; a ‘MANX CAT 1975’ design for a ‘FIVE PENCE’ coin; and an ‘AMERICAN BICENTENARY CROWN 1776-1976’ with a drummer design. Two additional crowns feature a male bust and the text ‘OUR CROWN 1877-1977’. The display cases for several coins explicitly state ‘COMMEMORATIVE CROWN STRUCK IN CUPRO NICKEL’. Some of the original packaging bears a ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ mark.
