A United Kingdom 1995 Silver Proof Piedfort Two-Pound Coin, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations. The coin, dated ‘1945 – 1995’ and inscribed with ‘UNITED NATIONS FOR PEACE’ on its visible face, is presented within a clear protective capsule. It is housed in its original dark green, hinged presentation case, which is lined with black velvet and cream satin and bears the ‘ROYAL MINT’ crest on the interior lid. The set includes its accompanying ‘Certificate of Authenticity’.
