This lot comprises a collection of five silver-plated table articles. The central object is an ornate coffee or hot water pot featuring an ebonized handle, a hinged lid topped with a finial, and a curved spout. Its body is extensively decorated with chased or repoussé motifs, including a prominent central cartouche. Adjacent to the pot is a handled mug or tankard of simpler form. Also included is a decorative bell, which features a crest depicting an animal, possibly a wild boar, and the Latin motto “FORTIS EST VERITAS” (Truth is strong). A small, footed pierced-work container, consistent with an egg cup or salt cellar, is also present. Completing the collection is a rectangular decanter label with rounded ends, suspended from a chain, clearly inscribed with the word “BRANDY.”
