A Sheffield 925 silver blade and mother-of-pearl fruit knife. This folding pocket knife features a single 925 silver blade, visibly marked with the numbers “1894” and impressed hallmarks near the hinge, including a lion passant, an assay mark, and maker’s initials “DWD”. The handle scales are crafted from mother-of-pearl. It has a decorated 925 silver bolster with a geometric pattern, also bearing hallmarks. One mother-of-pearl scale is set with a small rectangular 925 silver plaque, engraved with the text “T. C. BROWN / 1S-1-36”.
