This collection comprises five decorative homeware items. Central to the group is a Vestal Alcobaca hand-painted reticulated ceramic plate, featuring a scalloped, pierced rim adorned with green scrollwork and a central hand-painted green floral design. Also included is a white ceramic pierced-work basket with a fluted rim and a pink-striped handle. Two circular ceramic decorative plates with gilt rims are present, each depicting a detailed landscape scene; one shows fields with sheep and trees, and the other a dense wooded area with a distant building. Completing the collection is a small, round instrument set into a carved wooden base, featuring a brass-tone bezel around a barometer/thermometer dial. The dial is marked in English with weather terms: “Very Dry,” “Fair,” “Change,” “Rain,” “Stormy,” and “Thermometer” with both Celsius and Fahrenheit scales.
