A vintage metal and glass kerosene lantern, featuring a functional utilitarian design in the style of popular American ‘Blizzard’ or ‘Fitzall’ models. The base is marked with Chinese characters ‘中华制造’ (Zhōnghuá zhìzào), translating to ‘Made in China.’ It is constructed primarily of a ferrous metal, with a clear, spherical glass globe secured within the framework. Faint, heavily rusted text is visible on the top cap, though it is largely illegible.
Approximately 25 cm (10 inches) tall including the handle.
