A German Belle Époque reticulated porcelain plate, featuring a portrait in the style of a ‘Boileau Girl’. The circular plate has a wide pierced openwork rim and a white ground with gold accents outlining the central medallion. The central portrait depicts a woman in profile, dressed in an elegant style with an elaborate hat and fur boa. Below the portrait, the inscription ‘Copyright Schütz Bächer’ is present. The reverse of the plate bears a green underglaze maker’s mark consisting of a stylized monogram (possibly ‘M’ or ‘W’) within a flourish, accompanied by the numbers ‘188’ or ‘186’.
