A Royal Mail / Royal Mint Coin Cover commemorating The 25th Anniversary of the £1 Coin and The 50th Anniversary of the Country Definitives, dated 2008. The set features six £1 coins; five are brass-toned and depict the floral emblems for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and England, along with a Royal Arms design, all marked “ONE POUND” and “25TH ANNIVERSARY”. The sixth coin, appearing silver-toned, also features the Royal Arms and “ONE POUND”. Alongside the coins, a block of six commemorative “1ST POSTAGE REVENUE ER” stamps, depicting Queen Elizabeth II in purple and green hues, is present, bearing a “THE FOUR COUNTRIES LONDON 29.9.2008” postmark and a “50 YEARS 1958-2008” emblem. The entire presentation is housed in its original printed card folder, crediting “THE ROYAL MINT” and bearing the serial number “Nº 12742”.
