Description
An Australian L1A2 bayonet and its accompanying scabbard. The bayonet features a steel blade and a black, possibly polymer or hard plastic, handle. Engraved on the side of the handle is the marking “L1A3 960-0257 B”. The hilt includes a steel crossguard and a pommel with a rifle attachment mechanism, including a barrel ring and a locking button. The handle is secured by two prominent rivets. The scabbard is a simple, black-finished hard material, likely metal, with a belt attachment stud.
