A 20th Century oak fall-front bureau, featuring carved linenfold panels to the hinged fall-front. The fall opens to reveal a fitted interior comprising pigeonholes, small drawers, and a red felt-lined writing surface. Below the fall, the bureau presents two smaller upper drawers flanked by a carved central panel, and two full-width drawers beneath, all fitted with brass-tone pull knobs. The medium-dark stained wood construction is consistent with oak.
The accompanying necklace consists of graduated, polished malachite beads, exhibiting characteristic deep green banding and swirling patterns. The beads are individually knotted on a green cord.
