A multi-piece porcelain tea service by Empire England, featuring the ‘Crinoline Lady’ pattern, likely dating to the mid-20th century. Each item is extensively decorated with a gold filigree or scrollwork pattern on a cream-white ground, further embellished with colorful transfer-printed vignettes depicting figures in 18th-century Rococo-style attire within garden scenes. The service includes several teacups and saucers, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, a rectangular serving tray with handles, and a square plate. The underside of the rectangular serving tray is marked with a “EMPIRE ENGLAND” backstamp, featuring a laurel wreath motif, and the numbers “1 53”, alongside handwritten “153” and “72”.
