A spherical art glass paperweight featuring a complex internal composition. The clear glass dome encases an abstract design with a textured, shimmering gold frit or aventurine layer at the top, creating a cloud-like effect with drips extending downwards. Beneath this, a wavy mass of translucent bright blue glass with numerous encapsulated air bubbles forms a mid-layer. The base of the internal design consists of an organically shaped mass of translucent purple glass, also containing trapped air bubbles, from which several clear glass teardrop-like elements extend. A white label affixed to the flat base bears the handwritten inscription “13 Salena CATTANEO.”
