The obverse features a standing Britannia figure holding a trident and shield, encircled by the inscriptions “BRITANNIA 2017”, “1 OZ”, and “.999 FINE SILVER”, with “NATHAN” at the bottom. The reverse presents a crowned profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, facing right, with the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II”, “2 POUNDS”, and “D G REG F D” around the rim. The Latin inscription “D G REG F D” translates to “By the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith.” The coin is composed of 999.9 silver and is housed within a clear protective capsule.
