A Royal Mint Elizabeth II Piedfort £1 Silver Proof Coin, struck in 925 silver, featuring the classic St. George and the Dragon design. The visible side displays a detailed relief of St. George mounted on a horse slaying a dragon, with text around the rim including “ST. GEORGE” and “SOVEREIGN”. The coin is housed within a clear plastic protective capsule and presented in its original Royal Mint packaging: a red leatherette or faux leather hinged box with a white satin-like interior lid and a black velvet-flocked base insert. The lid’s interior features a printed Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom with a Tudor Rose, Thistle, and Shamrock motif, and the text “ROYAL MINT” beneath it.
