A group of six bi-metallic British two-pound (£2) commemorative coins. Each coin features a silver-colored cupro-nickel inner disc and a gold-colored nickel-brass outer ring. The obverse of each coin displays a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, encircled by the inscription “ELIZABETH II D G REG F D” (Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor – By the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith) and the denomination “TWO POUNDS.” The reverse sides depict various historical and commemorative themes, including: a steam engine for “TREVITHICK 1804 INVENTION INDUSTRY 2004”; an abstract design for “1914-2014”; a design relating to “BRUNEL 2006” (specifically the ‘Achievements’ design, as identified in market consensus); three figures for “MAGNA CARTA 1215-2015”; a top hat and structural design also dated “2006” (another Brunel theme, specifically ‘Paddington Station’); and a bust of Lord Kitchener for “THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914-1918 2014.”
