A Bank of England Five Pounds (£5) paper banknote, Great Britain P-378, issued between 1980 and 1987. The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in regal attire, a circular vignette of two horses, the serial number KS07 505621 (repeated), and the promise “I PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND THE SUM OF FIVE POUNDS,” signed by D.H.F. Somerset, Chief Cashier. The reverse displays a portrait of The Duke of Wellington (1769-1852) alongside a detailed battle scene.
