A Bank of England Ten Pounds note from the Florence Nightingale series, featuring Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse displays a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown and regalia, accompanied by an ornate lily design to her left. The serial number CX50 392351 appears twice. Text includes “BANK OF ENGLAND,” “I PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND THE SUM OF TEN POUNDS,” and “LONDON FOR THE GOVR. AND COMPY. OF THE BANK OF ENGLAND,” along with the signature of D.H.F. Somerset, Chief Cashier. The reverse depicts Florence Nightingale, identified by “FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE 1820-1910,” positioned next to a detailed scene of a hospital ward.
