A collection of five Wedgwood fine china decorative plates. The group comprises four blue and white commemorative plates and one multi-colored botanical calendar plate. The commemorative plates celebrate British royalty, including one marking the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (1900-2002), another for the 50th Anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip (June 2nd, 1953-2003), a third for the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2002), and a fourth commemorating the marriage of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales and H.R.H. The Duchess of Cornwall (9th April 2005), which also features the German motto “ICH DIEN.” The fifth plate is a multi-colored botanical calendar plate for the year 2003, illustrating seasonal flora and clearly marking the months and seasons as “SPRING,” “SUMMER,” “AUTUMN,” and “WINTER.” Several plates are presented with their original light blue “WEDGWOOD” branded boxes, one large box explicitly stating “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND 1759.”
