This lot features two distinct model locomotives. The first is an ‘N’ Gauge steam locomotive model, constructed from plastic and metal components, finished in black with “The Shredded Wheat Co.” clearly visible on its side. It is presented with a partially opened original cardboard box and a Graham Farish “Masterpieces in Miniature” brochure advertising “‘N’ Gauge The Great Space Saver!”. The second item is a static display model of a steam locomotive and tender, crafted from a silver-toned cast metal, possibly pewter or a similar alloy. This display model is mounted on a polished dark wood base and is marked “METROPOLITAN 26” on the locomotive and “GWR” on the tender. A small white label bearing the number “586” is affixed to the wooden base.
