A Caithness Glass paperweight. This ovoid or egg-shaped clear glass paperweight features an internal decorative composition. The base consists of an opaque purple or violet swirled glass, from which two teal-green curved glass elements, resembling leaves or petals, emerge. A central white, feathery glass structure rises from between these green elements, evocative of a flower or fountain. Several distinct round air bubbles of varying sizes are intentionally incorporated into the clear glass, surrounding the central design. The piece appears to be made entirely of glass. No visible text, signatures, or maker’s marks are present.
