A collection of twelve English horse brasses, featuring a diverse array of traditional and commemorative designs. The central and most elaborate piece is an elongated commemorative brass, celebrating the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana on July 29th, 1981. This brass features a crown, a bow with bells, and an embossed heart-shaped medallion inscribed “JULY 29th 1981 PRINCE CHARLES LADY DIANA”. It terminates in a spoon-like bowl, below intertwined horseshoe motifs. The remaining eleven items are smaller, loop-top brasses, displaying various traditional motifs including a swan, a lion rampant, a horse and rider, a fleur-de-lis, and intricate geometric or star patterns. All items exhibit a golden-yellow hue characteristic of brass.
