Lot 94: Hitachi VM-C1E Compact Video Camera Camcorder VHS-C HQ

A vintage Hitachi VM-C1E Compact Video Camera (Videocámara Compacta) camcorder. This camcorder operates on the VHS-C HQ format and features an “Amorphous Head” and “TWIST. SHOOT.” action. It is constructed from black plastic and metal, consistent with late 1980s to early 1990s design. The original, somewhat worn cardboard box is included, bearing text such as “MÚY FRAGIL” (Very Fragile) and “MADE IN JAPAN”. The box also describes a “Movable handle mechanism for simpler operation and mobile recording” (Mecanismo de empuñadura móvil para un funcionamiento más sencillo y grabación móvil). Accompanying the camcorder are a TDK EHG Compact VHS-C cassette, a battery, various cables, a power adapter, and a Goldstar-branded component, all contained within a grey carrying case inside the main box.
