A 2016 Diana – A Princess 100mm Gold and Silver Plated Commemorative Medal. This bi-metallic piece features a silver-toned central field and a gold-toned outer rim. One side displays a glittery gold-toned profile silhouette of a young woman facing right, surrounded by an ornate floral or foliate pattern, with text along the rim reading “PRINCESS OF WALES” and repeating miniature text “HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II”. The reverse side shows a full-color portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales, in her wedding dress, holding a bouquet, set against the same ornate silver-toned background and gold-toned rim. It is preserved within a clear protective capsule. Accompanying this is a smaller, silver-toned circular coin depicting an architectural element alongside three stylized posts, inscribed with the dates “1926” and “2016” flanking the Latin phrase “VIVAT REGINA”.
