A set of three Palissy ‘Game Series (Birds)’ luncheon plates. Each ceramic plate features a scalloped rim and a central polychrome transferware scene depicting various game birds, including pheasants, ducks, and quail/partridges, set within natural landscapes. The central image is framed by a repeating brown and white floral and foliate transferware pattern. The reverse of each plate bears the circular backstamp ‘THE ROYAL WORCESTER GROUP / A MEMBER OF Palissy / ENGLAND / EST 1853 / GAME SERIES’.
