A collection of five numismatic items. The group is led by a large, silver-toned commemorative coin, identified through web intelligence as a British Banknote Coin Series ‘D’ Pictorial Issue Florence Nightingale. This encapsulated coin features an allegorical figure on its reverse and a multi-vignette design on its obverse themed “NIGHTINGALE” and “VICTORIAN,” with visible text indicating “BANK OF ENGLAND ONE POUND.” Also included are three modern commemorative bi-metallic coins, each encapsulated: a Queen Elizabeth II “Diamond Jubilee Fifty Pence” from 2012 (silver-toned center, gold-toned outer ring), a “Cook Islands” Queen Elizabeth II coin from 2007 (gold-toned center, silver-toned outer ring), and a “Bailiwick of Jersey” Queen Elizabeth II coin from 2011 (gold-toned center, silver-toned outer ring). The collection further comprises a 1951 silver-toned British “Two Shillings” coin, unencapsulated, depicting King George VI on the obverse with the inscription “GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP.” and St. George and the Dragon on the reverse. The final item is an unencapsulated bronze-toned medallion commemorating “JOSEPH CONRAD 1857-1924” with his portrait on the obverse and a blank reverse.
