Description
This lot comprises a group of vintage player piano music rolls, likely dating to the early 20th century, manufactured by The British Autoplayer Co., Ltd. at 126 New Bond Street, W.1. The rolls are presented in their original cardboard boxes with accompanying paper instruction sheets. Each roll consists of perforated paper wound onto plastic or bakelite end spools. One roll is identified as “S 9772 RAYMOND OVERTURE Thomas” from the “EIGHTY-EIGHT NOTE” series. Another visible label on a partially unrolled piece of music lists “FULL SCALE THE MODERNIST TZ42224 L80 J. S.
