Lot 36: L'Occitane Christmas Stocking Tin with a Collection of British and Commonwealth Coins

A L’Occitane Christmas Stocking Tin, primarily green, red, and yellow, decorated with festive motifs of figures, presents, and flowers. The lid is branded ‘L’OCCITANE EN PROVENCE’. The tin contains a collection of assorted metal coins, largely appearing to be British or Commonwealth coinage. Visible details on the coins include denominations such as ‘ONE PENNY,’ and Latin inscriptions identifying monarchs including ‘GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP:’ and ‘ELIZABETH II D. G. REG. F. D.’, spanning from at least the early to mid-20th century; one coin clearly shows the year ‘1947’.
