A Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain plate or charger, featuring vibrant polychrome enamel decoration. The design is executed in the traditional Famille Rose style, comprising four main lobed panels depicting birds and lush pink floral arrangements, interspersed with intricate patterns and a central circular motif of a bird on a branch. Predominant colors include rich pinks, greens, and gold, set against a white ground within the panels and detailed scrolling borders. The reverse is plain white porcelain and bears a rectangular red seal mark with four Chinese characters, 華記中國 (Hua Ji Zhong Guo), which translates to ‘Hua Ji, China’ or ‘China, Hua Ji Mark.’
